I've always been involved in the creative arts. I studied music, theater, photograpy and film production. I went from professional musician, to television production and editing,
to hosting my own radio
shows. I produced and hosted a "Swing and Big Band"
show on KPCC 89.3 FM, a National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate in Pasadena, California.
I spent several years “on air” hosting and producing my own radio shows at KTHX 100.1 FM,
in Reno, Nevada. The shows included Blues, Jazz, Rock, Adult Alternative, Soul, Pop
and much more. I had the highest (Arbitron*) ratings for my time
slot in the 9-year history of the radio station. I was a Disc Jockey
at KRLT 93.9 FM, in South Lake Tahoe, California playing “Top 40” and “Classic
Rock”. I recorded a Christmas Special for KTKE 101.5 FM, in Truckee, California. No one, except perhaps a “musicologist” can
offer more variety and knowledge of recorded music.
I've had on air interviews with (and introduced) many famous and not so famous entertainers. I've acted as emcee (MC) at numerous
concerts, special events and fundraisers. I'm at home in front of
5 or 5,000. Since 2000 I've devoted myself to providing the best possible
DJ entertainment service possible in Northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe and now exclusively in Southern California. Please take a look at the Testimonials page on this site to see what my previous clients had to say.

In addition to my music interests, I'm an avid skier and PSIA Certified Instructor, mountain
biker, hiker, guitarist, photographer and videographer.I did some Extra work in the eighties and again a few years ago. You might see me (for a second or two) in the films, "Oh, God! You Devil", "Stayin' Alive" and "Smokin' Aces".
February 2010 Update: I'm enjoying work (in between DJ gigs) as a Film and TV Extra (background actor). I've had the opportunity to work in episodes of Mad Men, Parks and Recreation, Cold Case, Dollhouse, NCIS Los Angeles, the forgotten, Flash Forward, Scrubs, Big Love, House, Heroes, Numbers, 100 Questions, Grey's Anatomy, Glee, The Mentalist, Miami Medical, Important Things with Demetri Martin and Bones. Here's a few movies scheduled for release this year I was paid for spending the day on: Iron Man 2, You Again, Inception and The Green Hornet.
